Thanks for the lot of information on Auto campaigns!! Earlier I was not aware of the placements of substitutes & compliments. Now, I'm aware and optimize and restructure the auto campaigns based on your philosophy!! Thank you. I would also like to know how Product targeting campaigns work and their placements

Great video! I just took over an account and there are some good campaigns on it that have been paused for over two years now but have a lot of history, does it make sense to reactivate them or just leave them and create new ones?

Hello, good video! One question, on minute 21:00 says that to optimize the ACOS is better to have a Bid lower than the CPC. But what if the Bid is already lower than CPC and I still want my ACOS to be lower?

Hi Destaney! Thank you for the tip “Does Amazon know my product?” Fantastic tip to add product under manual to check what suggestions Amazon makes. Question - I was under the impression that Amazon uses data from your listing’s title, bullet points, description and backend keywords in auto campaigns to place your ad? I ask that because you mentioned that if Amazon doesn’t know your product, an automatic campaign might be ineffective in the beginning.
@wearebtrmedia4 жыл бұрын
You are correct! The quality of your listing during launch definitely makes a difference in this. But the number of keywords in your listing and backend is limited compared to the actual amount of search terms that will drive a consumer to your listing.

Thanks Destaney for this video! Just a quick question: I have auto campaigns with targeting as close and loose match, but when I get my search term reports it shows sales coming from ASINs. Since it’s just for close and loose, shouldn’t be just shown for keywords?

Thank you SO much for this video! Quick question: I set up an auto ad and then added some negative targeting, which then destroyed my conversions. I removed the negative targeting, but the ad hasn't recovered. Does it need more time to adjust, or should I create a fresh ad and start again?
@wearebtrmedia4 жыл бұрын
Hey Suzanne! Sorry for the delayed response here! It wouldn't hurt to start a new campaign if your old auto didn't have a ton of history :)

Hey Destaney! So if you have a HIGH budget wouldn’t it be a good idea to run the Type 3 auto campaign by having all the targeting types in their own auto campaigns? 🤔 thank you for the great advice and keep making these videos they are helping me with my career thanks in advance and hope to hear from you!
@wearebtrmedia4 жыл бұрын
This is a great call out! We also keep the targeting types separate so we can optimize them better at scale. For example, if your close match has a 15% ACoS give it a 2k a day budget but if your loose match has a 50% ACoS give it a 1k budget while you work on optimizing so that your total averages out to be a good ACoS still :)
@wearebtrmedia4 жыл бұрын
If you had them together you could only increase the budget if it was profitable! But with them separate you can scale them quicker with high budgets.

Thank you for your helpful content! I have my auto campaigns broken up to each of the four types but I get a mix of ASIN and search term results in substitutes, complements, loose match and close match. Is there a way to selete or deselect either ASIN or search terms so I can only get ONE type of targetting?

Will an auto-campaign for a single ASIN impact the organic ranking on another marketplace?

You guys are so amazing. Thank you for sharing this information. I am running an account for 1.5 years and I am using both manual and automatic targeting for the same product. Should I keep using both of them or now Should I switch to Manual only?
@umairmaqbool16802 жыл бұрын
So amazing question. You can use your keywords at the same time in auto and manual, for example if your keywords have not better performed in auto(low sales and high ACOS) but better perform in manual so you add this keywords in auto exact negative and go with manual
@fabianprosciuc22324 жыл бұрын
great content! thanks for this video quick question here: If I run my campaigns on long tail keywords(as I just launched and I can't afford going for the big main KW (24ks search volume), and in my campaigns I have a really high number of clicks on that keywords but no sales,, should I add that keyword as negative for now as I can't afford going for it yet? and just stick with smaller volume keywords for now Thanks
@wearebtrmedia4 жыл бұрын
Hey Fabian! Great question. I personally would not recommend adding it as a negative - since it is highly related to your products. I would just lower the bid to like .11 or .20. That way it lowers your impressions and clicks! (Similar to negating BUT this way you still have the potential to drive sales on you most important keywords when your competitors lower their bids. This means any clicks and sales you get will be cheap!)

Hi Destaney, hope you are doing well. I have a question regarding PPC auto campaign where i placed bid of 0.8$ without placement adjustment as stated in the video. However, for 1 click i my cpc is 1.6$. Do you know the reason of that? Given that i chose bidding strategy down only, its kinda strange that i spent more than i am supposed to. Thanks a lot in advance
@wearebtrmedia Жыл бұрын
Hi! What time frame are you looking at?! If you are looking at a timeframe that includes your prior bid, it will show you the average of your prior bid and your current bid :) If you adjust your time frame to post bid change, it should show you the correct CPC after your bid change!
@zelim9863 Жыл бұрын
@@wearebtrmedia the thing is that i just launched it and its running only for 2 days. Its strange as my bid is 0.8$ but Amazon adjusted it somehow to 1.6$
@minimon924 жыл бұрын
If i divide compaigns into groups of 5 exact keywords. With 10$ budget but keywords are not giving impressions( may be because in past 6 months i paused a keyword in some separate compaign where initially i added all keywords together) now i am increasing bid to even 3-5$ per keyword. But still no impressions what should one do? Second question: what if a compaign worked perfectly all season and now towards the end of season all those compaigns and keywords are not converting what should be my steps? Third: pausing a compaign and making new compaign how will this effect keyword ?
