This is a perfect little clip to show as a microcosm of why people say MTV used to be good and sucks now. This is a professionally produced piece with a talented, relaxed interviewer, it's well put together, there are no political or social undertones or message that the MTV producers tried to shape out of the footage, it is just purely talented people putting together nice production pieces about the making of music and the artists who put the work into the tracks. I really wish there was stuff like this that was still around and on such a highly elevated level as MTV was at this time. I remember you could just throw MTV on all day in the summertime while youre around the house or going in and outside, and there'd always be something just chilled out, relaxed, cool, and interesting. MTV had this really 'chill' aesthetic that was very unique at the time, hard to describe, but easy to feel when you watched it. Over the years when the TLR era ended and the Jersey Shore non-music MTV started, they completely lost that classic aesthetic sadly. It was a one of a kind feel for a TV channel.

Perfectly worded, back when MTV actually had a pulse and tried to showcase different scenes and had personality. Yo MTV raps to Headbsngers Ball. What a treasure it was to grow up with it. It makes no sense to me how it could turn to such garbage.

This is on point. Especially the part about leaving it on all day

I spent years listening to tracks from this album here and there, but on 1996 I was finally able to buy it. I did listen to Disorder 3 times in a row, and after some neck-breaking headbanging, I was drenched in sweat, pale as a candle and about to spit out my heart. Seeing this video after so many years is a nearly magical experience.

Lots of heads slept on that tape back in the day. Great way to acquaint Hip-Hop and Metal heads to one another if they weren't already.

Awesome. I actually taped this on an old VHS cassette tape but it broke. Thanks for posting it. Much appreciated. By the way, I ended up buying the Judgment Night album on audio cassette just because of the Disorder song. Best song on the soundtrack. Hail Ice T and Slayer.

***** Yeah, the whole album is interestingly good but the Disorder song is the ruling track on the album. Thank you, Slayer and Ice T.

***** Yeah, it's the kind of stuff that I missed out on because I live in the US and some of this aired before I ever got MTV which was back in 1993. There are some stuff that did air like Slayer & Ice T and that Sepultura Chaos AD studio report but your videos are longer versions. There are also some stuff from MTV Europe and also some that has already been posted and of course, there are those rarities like the Type O Negative and Entombed videos. Got to check those out. By the way, I got some requests that I'd like to make and those are every interview with Slayer, Testament and Cannibal Corpse on the Handbangers Ball (MTV Europe and MTV US). Thank you for bringing the metal.
