Hi, I’m a delivery driver myself and have recently had a baby, about 4-5 weeks ago now. I submitted my new child payment claim on the 20th October. I only received my payment from Uber on Wednesday and I’m still waiting for the Deliveroo payment. The customer service for Deliveroo are very slow to reply and keep you updated on the progress! So I would say between 3-5 weeks to get the payment. Hope this helps 😊

I did say congrats on your community post but congrats again lad. I bought a contract phone Tuesday and the main reason was to get all the delivery apps. I applied for just eat, stuart, deliveroo and uber eats. I'm just wondering how long it took you to get working for them?? stuart i'm waiting to hear from, just eat and uber i've had about 3 emails saying bank statements or ID isn't good enough and i have honestly no idea wtaf is going on with deliveroo. I signed up took a photo of my ID and now the apps just f'd. Do you use the rider app?? it's said server error for 3 days.

Thanks a lot! As for the apps, when I signed up two years ago it took me just 3 days to get on Deliveroo and about 2 weeks to get on Uber. It seems like the waiting lists are a LOT longer now though, I hear people are waiting months and months to get accepted now.

Can you experiment using a bike for 1 day and your car on the next day just to see who Deliveroo and other apps give the most delivery to and I thought you said in one off your videos you don’t pick up 2 food order at 2 different address as the food will get cold but you did it in this video?

Maybe if I get a bike! And I did a double on the same app - when I said I don't multiapp, that's taking two orders on different apps so the customers don't know you're doing it. Taking doubles on the same app is absolutely fine.

7:57 i got the uber one for 900 but i wasnt able to get the deliveroo one. It was very simple you just need to send a copy of your baby birth certificate to them and you will receive the money in a week or 2

They don't come up often, and when they do it's only for an hour. Last year there used to be 1.5x most weekends from 5-8pm. They're cutting back on boosts a lot this year.

Probably! Also, the delivery companies face a lot of scrutiny from courts/press about rider welfare so this is something they can point to and say "look, we do this, we care about our riders"
