To save some cash on it I would opt out of the snow-covered lands. Replace the Rimebound Dead with Tenacious Dead and the Withering Wisps with Pestilence.

I was Gideon, Champion of Justice for Halloween; my friend went as Aurelia, the Warleader, and we made a bunch of Boros elite costumes cuz we knew people who weren't going to have good ones. It was sweet going around with like, an entire Boros battalion

if you replace the withering wisps with a black market, the ammount of ramp you end up with is more than enough to regen creatures and still have some left over. it essentially powers itself.

I know this video is old but I enjoy it enough to want to make a modern legal version. The only 2 cards that aren't modern legal are the the Lim-Dul's High Guard and the Withering WIsps...are there any replacements for those 2 cards? I know Shadows Over Innistrad has some skeletons and so will Eldritch Moon when it releases....any help is welcome!

Soi and emn both have 1 skeleton. Sanitarium skeleton and mournwillow respectively. They dont really fit into the skellybones tribal but as a fellow skeleton lover, i wish you good luck on a modern legal skeleton tribal!

Only thing I don't like about wisps, it won't accept coffers or rituals. I think every tick of wisp? kills your 1/1 skeleton per tick? So you might end up regen like crazy?

Do you "have" to pay snow effects from say rimebound dead regenerate with snow mana? since it says that it "can" be paid with snow mana. It doesnt say it "must" or "have" to be paid with snow mana. Confusing

With DTK out you could do marang river skeleton instead of drudge skeleton because of megamorph.

Cool deck, and I like the skeleton theme. Death Baron is pretty sweet, but will need to be proxied. He's definitely not budget friendly; I still don't have one for my Zombies HORDE. :( Funny video! Tell Wedge next time you see him.

btw wedge you should do a deck tech on U/B control in standard it's actually really good i went undefeated with it for 3 rounds out of 5 that were played at my LGS got to top 8 and made 1 misplay that cost me the second game... 3rd game i mulligan to 6 and kept a 1 land hand.... big mistake lol
