Definitely wait for Labor Day to seed. I really recommend Flagship fertilizer (handydad.tv/184v) and just spot spray weeds over the next few weeks. Don’t spray herbicide in the hot summer.

I am not sure. I’ve only used Hydretain with the hose end sprayer because it needs to go down with a lot of water.
