On trivial matters: NYers would know, lefty thrower/righty hitter is Cleon Jones of the 1969 Miracle Mets. Some pitchers used to do that too, one being Sandy Koufax, which I always wondered about because batting right the valuable left arm is exposed to getting hit by a pitch. On the brothers scoring, I thought the sneaky answer would be Gordie & Vic Howe. Vic Howe played a few games for the Rangers in the 50s. The Howe brothers outscored the Espositos. Syd Howe, however, was not related.

i got YT premium so i aint got to deal with the ads, but i cant handle elliots dryness, or his ability to laugh at his own jokes... Plus the whole talking about your kids and "im a hockey dad and i bond with my kid over hockey" is just too much, granted your gonna get that on a lot of sports podcasts these days because the average human parent in 2025 is just a sad shell of a youth sports chauffer. then answering an obscure mailbag question nobody cares about, i am pretty sure is directly stolen from a baseball pod i listen too and it doesnt do a single thing for me,,, also hilarious how often the mailbag question says "i have a kid"... the pod is 10% full grown adults telling you they have a kid like ur supposed to care or relate...
