Damn. That comes standard with the bike in Australia. Manufacturers are subject to basic security restrictions in Australia before the bike can be sold. A steering lock and immobiliser must also be on all new vehicles.

Really? Wow I didn't know that. Good to know. I felt that it was must to have and a piece of mind. I didn't like having the bike parked somewhere and worrying about someone pouring something.

Any reason you couldn’t start with the tumbler nearest the key slot and work the other direction? That way, the key would hold the current tumblers while you manipulate the next spring and tumbler.

This should be talked about more. I was considering getting this cruiser and accepting the single calliper brembos and other shortfalls. But no lock on the fuel cap is too much for me to consider dropping $26k on it now.

It should have come with the fuel lock.

Bruh do you have to mount the cap on the bike before installing the cylinder for the key? I cant get the cylinder to stay inside, it doesn’t lock. Thanks

You do have to install the cap on the bike first. The cylinder should be the very last thing you install inside the cap after you figure out the code for the cylinder.

You have open it up with pliers and then once the hose is on the fittings let go of it.

This bike is over 18k and all the add ons are things that should’ve been included as options like the mid controls or the locking fuel cap I can understand paying more for the passenger kit and upgraded seat but this 🤦‍♂️ gotta hate Harley Davidson nowadays Beautiful bike but they milking it too much
