the train is purgatory basically; you helped the boy and his sister cross over into the afterlife, but when you chose not to go with them it’s because you survived and woke up instead of crossing over with them lol (in the first ending where u get off the train, that’s you dying)

Whats with the kids dialogue to subtitles at the start tho? Am i mishearing or when the subtitle says he says "are you looping too?" he actually says 'see you later' randomly? Like またあったね (still learning could be wrong)(the dialogue midway through does match as far as i can tell its just the order of the lines is different to the english subs) Besides just generally not liking him, he seems like a weird way to introduce this type of game, compared to the other ones like this especially(nvm i retract this due to his ongoing mystery thing, he's a great idea), also i feel like this is a big voice actor for kids like i think i remember someone from hinterxhunter or something? but i dont like how they sound here, like he speaks too slow? Directing i guess? He's giving me the usual dub feels in the subs vs sub thing and idk why (And other noncritical things to say about the game lol i dont want to be that commneter but i cant think of anything else to say even tho i do like this kind of thing) Theyre implying that the siblings were dead the entire time and thats why they were in the infinity train (wrong ip i know lol), you were just unconscious and still alive which why it wasnt your time to leave the train

he said まだあったね, which is along the lines of “here again, huh?” - so the translation is accurate :) there is however a part later where the kid says something along the lines of “i guess my explanation must not have been great” and the subtitles just say “duh!” lmao 😭 a lot of what the kid is saying does get translated weirdly
