i love how when your sanity goes down in the game, it goes down in real life, because you start frantically looking, and your brain makes up differences when there are none there, and you start remembering things wrong, or thinking you saw something, sometimes to the point where you miss the real anomalies because you're so paranoid

Honestly, I think some of the things don't have animations because you're not supposed to see it. I would assume a game like this would generate a cue of anomalies that will happen and sometimes you just happened to be the in the room when they were scheduled. I don't think you were supposed to see the towels change sides, I think you were just supposed to enter the room and they've changed.
