Hello Amanda, Thank you for sharing this pattern and for your fantastic tutorial. I can watch someone and learn but unfortunately never learned how to read a pattern. I will make this for my next project after I finish a lap warmer. Thank you again! Janet

I really enjoyed this stitch very nice I like the way you teach also is there a maybe a double crochet or half double crochet blanket I would love to learn thank you
@AmandaCrochets3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Do you mean just a really basic half double crochet or double crochet blanket for absolute beginners?
@michellesanchez7413 жыл бұрын
The half double crochet is my favorite stitch. I have a " practice " blanket I started a few months ago as i was just getting back into crochet after 20+ years. I wanted to get the feel of the yarn and hook back before I really started a project. I decided to do a row of SC then a row of HDC and I have to say it came out so pretty. There is a little ridge on the back side between rows that I wasnt expecting but I Love It. You could do a HDC row and then a DC row or something of that nature. Just my thoughts as a semi-beginner ! Amanda has so many beautiful blankets and stitches I'm sure you could find one you like.

@@michellesanchez741 That's a great suggestion! I decided to work up a beginner HDC blanket, which I'm hoping to publish soon on my channel.
@michellesanchez7413 жыл бұрын
@@AmandaCrochets thank you. I will def be on the lookout for that HDC blanket. I have 2 stitches that i really want to learn one being the HDS Herignbone stitch and a back post stitch. I can do the front post but the back post I just can't seem to pull the yarn through after i yarn over, it always falls off or catches. those will come later🙂 i'm still working on my Petals Blanket

This is beautiful! Can I substitute a double crochet to for the single crochet? If yes, how many chains at the end of the row before I turn?
@AmandaCrochets3 жыл бұрын
If you were to substitute the single crochet for a double crochet, you would actually be making an entirely different stitch. This might be the stitch you're looking for. This is similar, but uses the double crochet as you mentioned: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIbKkJ-DZ7OAars

How many stiches do I need to make a throw blanket
@AmandaCrochets3 жыл бұрын
You will make a chain in the multiple that I mention in the video. I can’t say for sure how many chains you’ll need as everyone’s gauge is different. You can always make a chain and measure it to the size that you need. Hope that helps!

Hello I'd like to see something a little past beginners you know but just a stitch that has half double crochet or maybe double crochet a little more advanced than beginner, please. Thank you

You got it! If there’s a particular stitch you want to see, please let me know. 😊

I would like it if you would do more than 2-3 rows of a stitch pattern. Better yet would love to see an actual project done. But that’s just me.

This is just a beginner tutorial showing how to make the stitch. Any projects are separate videos on my channel. Thanks!
