Spring Cold Front Killed The Spawning Crappie Bite UNTIL I Did THIS!

Nothing kills the crappie spawn like a spring cold front. Thankfully I had a few tricks up my sleeve and got the crappie to cooperate. You wont believe what we had to do to get these crappie to bite during a spring cold front.

I do alot crappie fishing on my channel from the bank and my kayak. It can be a struggle but when you can find them and know what they want you will bust them crappie!! I enjoy all your videos. Can I assume under these conditions during the spawn they will normally stay in the general area of the spawn near the bottom instead of going to deeper water suspended in standing tember. Are minnows Ok to use under these conditions. Thanks again for making these videos.

All baits are good to use. Live bait not to be excluded. When conditions are right these fish will go to the banks. That's a general rule of thumb. Some crappie spawn in deep water on stumps and trees also

Just curious if you ever target them? I know that Panoptics is hard to beat but I feel a lot of guys forget about those shallow water fish. Just last week, three of us kept 75 fish all over 12”. Some over 14”. I’m putting a hurting on them!
