I have to thank you for this. It's been 34 years since I lived in and fished in the streams and rivers of New Brunswick. I saw the river you were on and always wanted to fish it but never did. My home waters were the Penniac stream down to the Nashwaak river down to the mighty St John river. I hitchhiked all over the province chasing Brookies and Atlantic Salmon back in the day when anybody on their way to work would stop and give you a ride just because you were carrying a fishing rod. I am glad you are out there doing this. Anybody who would take a long walk always got some back then, glad they still do.

I really apriciate your response thanks a lot! And I can just imagine what the fishing was like back then in this beautiful Provence. If you ever want to see more fishing from nb or the maritimes, take a look at my youtube channel. I fish the mighty miramichi and saint john river. Also we have a TV show on wild TV called Fish East. The show is all about show casing multi species in the maritimes. Or you can find it on youtube just type in fish east. I'm just a camera man for the show. All the best sir, and have a good day. 👍

man! i love this, I've been here for 3 years and been hunting trout but never ever found one.
@mbnoutdoorsnb2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, and keep on trying sometimes they are like musky hard to catch but enough time spent chasing them you will prevail! Make sure of your only going to catch and release to use barbless hooks and makes sure your hands are wet before handling them. Good luck and tight lines!
@vonescueta2 жыл бұрын
@@mbnoutdoorsnb yes, I always catch and release, but I wanted to take 1 or 2 home for a try. hahaha good luck to you brother! I hope to see you fishing and vlogging one day! I also do vlogs here in NB. some of them are my fishing trip hehehe

Nice trout after 15 inches they start getting shoulders. I love finding fellow New Brunswickers on KZbin.
@mbnoutdoorsnb2 жыл бұрын
I guess they do. That big trout was just over 15 inches and the small one was 10. Pretty crazy the size difference between the 2 fish.

Well the Kenny is a solid river its so big with plenty of opertunities. Not only trout but shad as well. Any tributary that connects to the Kenny would be a good area as well. I mainly fish the Kenny for shad and trout.
