I LOVE that your house is "dirty." It shows you are busy being a mama, which means you have your priorities straight. Before you know it, you will have no little people under foot to put little fingerprints everywhere. Then you can have a magazine perfect house. I have one above my kitchen sink, my husband calls it a head banger. 😆 I dislike when I hear people criticize others for buying faux flowers, especially cheap ones. But, you know what- some people can’t afford real or expense real looking and everyone deserves “pretty” in their home!! God bless them for making things pretty within the means God has provided. ❤

I started thrifting when I was in high school (let’s just say over 30 years ago) before thrifting was cool! Most of our things in our our first house came from thrift stores and I clothed our children from thrift stores (they dressed as well as the kids who’s parents dropped lots of money)! It was a life saver, but also so fun treasure hunting. My husband was always so amazed at the beautiful things I have found over the years. I’m happy to see other people getting on the band wagon…and to those that think it’s gross…more for us!

My shark IQ with emptying station was a game changer for me. I’m not good at vacuuming enough and always had dust etc along hallways, baseboards , and under furniture. It’s set to go off every day same time. I never have dusty floors anymore. You still need a vacuum for a more thousand carpet cleaning though. And the shark hydro vac rocks for floor cleaning.

Get both colors. They seem to pair well together. You don't have to be matchy-matchy. That way you can use them with a lot of different colors or together. Think green glasses with white plates and maybe rattan placemats or something.

Surprisingly I have used magnolias mixed in with a Christmas garland on my mantle especially when the brownish side of the leaves are prominent. Add a few other items and it looks beautiful. The tarnished brass bells really complement the brown side of the leaves
