3:40 esos ejemplos me parecen muy informales también. Yo lo diría así: "Buenos/as dias/tardes/noches, me gustaria alquilar un coche" 4:00 a mi me suena bien la pregunta, aunque yo diría: "¿tienen servicio de habitación?" 5:20 tambien se puede poner el se puede poner el pronombre detras del verbo Ej: "¿Podría recomendarme...?" 7:11 está expresion para mí esta bien, se entiende que es lo que quieres no suena raro para nada Pd: soy de España

Just speak spanish. Regional expressions are not always helpful for us, anyhow. Do not asume you speak wrong "basic" spanish. There is not such thing

@@lucindawinehouse2002 Hola Lulú. ¿Que tan bien te va con otras modalidades del español? A fin de cuentas, el español que describe lo que pensamos es el de la gramática y vocabulario universal. Sabes, es curioso que estés aprendiendo "español europeo", ya que en Europa solo un país habla español, y es "el español" , el original.

I work at a gas station where we get many Spanish speaking customers that often don’t speak any English. Could you possibly do a video on how I could speak to them during transactions to buy gas etc? I’m in the US if that helps. I would love know how to help them more so it’s not stressful for them! Thanks in advance. ❤

Hello learners, I am from Ecuador, and I tell you that the Miss is right, please don´t use formal words, we are polite (that´s correct) but in a common live we don´t use it, maybe if you are working in a company or academic place, feel free to use the formal way, greetings from Ecuador.

"Una habitacion con cama de matrimonio", si es para la noche de la boda podria ser no? jeje. But seriously it can be confusing booking rooms. habitacion sencilla would be just a room with one single bed right? "habitacion matrimonial" I have seen a lot in many latin american countries (but I don't know Mexico) and it means a room with a double bed. "habitacion doble" as you say I take to mean a room with two separate beds, but I always add "con dos camas separadas por favor" even though I know it sounds extranjero, but better that than have them give you only one bed.
@JuanMoreno-wo5yb2 жыл бұрын
A veces ellos me dieron una habitación con dos camas al precio de una sencilla porque no tienen la sencilla. 😋 btw, I think “matrimonio” is just the size of the bed, basically a queen size. I think. I bought a mattress in Mexico and matrimonio is the size I got. Haha, and I have never been married! Jiji.

En el idioma español no es correcto decir "rentar un coche", "rentar un apartamento", etc. Eso es tomado directamente del inglés "to rent". En su lugar, lo correcto es decir "alquilar" o "arrendar". De otra parte, "rentar" con el significado de dar u otorgar ganancias o dividendos, sí es correcto; p. ej.: "estas acciones me rentan buenos dividendos", "sus negocios le rentan buenas ganancias". Saludo respetuoso desde Cali, Colombia.

Actually, it's "we" native speakers. And most native English speakers don't know that either . . . but as far as being "natural" . . . I walked up to a lady, smiled and asked, "¿el metro?". She turned and pointed towards the mall and said, "Hay algodón y rayon por el metro y muy barato".

'Quería' is too formal, ok ... what about 'me gustaría ... ? Duolingo uses that. In any case thank you for covering this topic. I'm learning from a combination of Duolingo, KZbin, Spanish-language TV, and mostly my Mexican neighbors and co-workers, who sometimes laugh at me good-naturedly for using phrases I picked up from some Columbian or Spanish show.
@lailas.3205 Жыл бұрын
That's great that you're learning Spanish 😊 Do note that she said "Querría" (I would want) and not "Quería" (I wanted). "Me gustaría" is much more natural than Querría but it is more formal than the other examples she used in the video. I lived in the Spanish speaking Caribbean for 4 years and I don't think I once heard anyone use the word Querría

Excuse me, but I would never recommend the use of Anglicisms as a Spanish teacher for foreigners when there are Spanish words that perfectly replace them (for example, hora de salida instead of "check-out"). And depending on the socio-cultural contexts in which the use of the 1st and 3rd expressions takes place, its formality is perfectly valid since it denotes the good manners and education as well as the command of Spanish of the speaker who uses both of them.

No intentes hablar "mexicano" si no sabes español. Do not attempt to speak "mexican" unless you speak spanish. You know, the problem Is that we would switch into many more "mexican expressions" if we hear you use our way of talk. You will get lost in translation, since there aré many regional styles of comunicating. A few tips of "sound cool" expressions won't help you.

Do you want to say the phrase or make a joke with your friends?, well Hispanic people dont worry about that "LIVE YOUR LIFE", maybe if you go to a club only have fun and people´ll love you, but in Spanish is " Soy homosexual los martes y viernes" (mexican is the nacionality of a person) and (speak mexican like slang mexican... is different) I hope helped you with some meanings and cheer up with Spanish language, take care Brent have a nice day.
