What helps me to keep my mind stayed on heavenly things while the provocations and the wickedness of the world swirls about, that is to have a eternal perspective while living in the present, is the new Jerusalem; its immensity, its walls bedecked with precious stones, its pathways of golden glass, and the family of God within. The spectacle, comfort and love are a great comfort for me. God bless.

May God give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” (Psalm 20:4, ) Proverbs 11:25 tells us “Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.” May God bless all those who pray upon him and ask for these blessings. Until this year, my fifty sixth, I only knew the name, Spurgeon. I thank God I came across these videos. I was desperate to find a preacher who preaches this way. Preaching on the main things, leaving all the churchianity aside. Though, I must confess, I have also connected Spurgeon's sermons to the voice of this person, and I find I tend to skip anybody else's readings. I guess I have some growing to do.

For whatever reason, I can when I hear this narrator. It seems he "gets it" & I'm able to give my full attn & hear it through. I quite enjoy listening to him. He's a blessing to me.

Someone put it this way; Don't follow the elephant or the donkey, follow the lamb! It is so easy to be distracted by the technology of today and maybe even many or possibly most preachers Gert caught up with too many side issues as Spurgeon mentions in this message from 1870. Even then this was problematic!!!

That’s a very very very weak non existent argument against the Bible. We have a better covenant with Jesus. When you read the Bible take precept upon precept and pray for wisdom and understanding and the Holy Spirit to teach you. It’s a gross thing to take a verse from the Old Testament and look at it with your perverted world view and try to make it something it clearly isn’t with love and respect

GOD has not failed to love anyone, those who believe and those who do not believe. We are all equally loved by GOD. Believers thank and praise GOD. Remember the Prodigal Son, this is often used to tell sinners to come to GOD the Father. It is about the loving father always yearning for both the sons, the one that went away from home as well as the one that stayed but was not at home. Both did not love the father who loved them both. It is about the loving GOD with outstretched arms ready to embrace us. Come home, come home.

Spurgeon never went to College. He was going to, but YaHaWaH had other plans. He obviously didn't need to go learn rhetoric, not theology. He just sat at the feet of YaHaWaHaSaHi Hamashiach Christ, and the Holy Spirit guides him in all Spirit, and Truth. Seems I read that in John, too.. See.. YaHaWaH's word is true. One only needs to trust, and follow YaHaWaHaSaHi 's example, just like disciples..!

School teachers, we would remember to lift them in prayer, ( though small prayers they were)
Isaiah 50 4 The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. 5 The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. 6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. 7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Charles Spurgeon is truly a humble man of YaHaWaH. I have learned so much from his teaching. Earlier I heard one who was so pompous in speech that he only impressed himself. As I listened to this well educated teacher of theology, I thought..💭. I wonder if he ever walked in the shoes of men like Spurgeon, Martin Luther ( of whom he was attempting to mimic.., but obviously didn't really know true history..?), John Bunyan, George Muller, Smith Wigglesworth, Leonard Raven Hill, etc.. When these men walked the earth.. revivals took place, not just great emotions that soon pass. They just loved YaHaWaH in YaHaWaHaSaHi Hamashiach (salvation) Christ. He had the gift of information, vocabulary, and eloquence of speech, but the earth just stood still, and a lot of the less educated audience was shell shocked..

While I agree that 'thinking well and doing well' is important, this message can sometimes come across as too simplistic. Life isn’t always that straightforward. You can think good thoughts and try to do the right things, and still face hardship, failure, and injustice. Are we putting too much emphasis on positive thinking and behavior as the solution to everything? Maybe we should focus more on God’s grace and sovereignty, acknowledging that even our best efforts can’t guarantee a smooth or successful life.
@motivationradio-V29 күн бұрын
You raise an important point-thinking and doing well doesn’t always result in an easy or successful life. Spurgeon’s message is not about guaranteeing a trouble-free life but about living with integrity and faithfulness to God’s truth. It’s true that our thoughts and actions are important, but they are grounded in God’s grace and strength, not in our own abilities. We can strive to live rightly, but ultimately, we trust in God’s sovereignty, knowing that He is with us through both successes and struggles, and it’s His grace that sustains us.
@ClifRonczka29 күн бұрын

You missed the part about the martyrs holding on to the lovingkindness of the Lord as they were about to be burned at the stake before the reformation. I found this to be as deep as anything I've ever heard. This is about the presence of God in your life in a way that reaches past our difficulties and touches eternity. My own life has been full of things that have made me quite unacceptable to our Holy God. This blessed message reminds me it's about His loving kindness and not about all my failures. This is breath and life for someone as crushed as I have been. May the Holy Spirit bless you in all you need as much as He blessed me with this message.

If you become a christian for an easy and prosperous life according to what humanity thinks of as prosperous and easy you will be sorely disappointed life gets far more harder as a christian because the new nature of the holy spirit that we recieve is at constant war with the old man it's not about sensual worldly pleasures getting easier it's about the heart andsoul being healed so that in our suffering we feel joy in our poverty we prosper because we know the pin head of this life is but the tip of the iceberg of the glory in eternity that we hope for in christ

I hate sin. I don’t want anything in my life that my Jesus doesn’t want. It’s not a phase or something that will pass. I lived in fear and drank , took drugs to try and not feel anymore. The pain and loneliness was unbearable. I know God is real. I’m placing all my hopes in Him. You are seeking something in life or else you wouldn’t be on this video about our Lord.
