This is the best lockback Spyderco has ever produced. The model that originally caught my attention was the sprint run model with the blue nishijin glass fiber scales. It is too beautiful of a knife to be a user, so I decided to also get the more user-friendly G10 version with cruwear. Love the profile of this knife, the handle-to-blade proportions, and that it has that nice, pointy tip that Spyderco is trying to erase with the Endura and Delica models.

@@XFS540 I have to agree with you. I go back and forth between this stretch 2XL with cruware and the native five with G10 and cruware from knife center being the best lockback from Spyderco. But today, I agree with you lol. I really hope I'm able to grab one of the nishijin stretch 2xls before they disappear. Thanks for watching by the way!

I bought the standard LW version (black FRN/VG10) and just got it yesterday (10/09/2024). I already have a Police 4LW and and Endura 4 LW (actually two of them) and in terms of aesthetics, the Stretch 2 XL looks better than those knives (to my eyes at least). I have no problem with VG10. Another reason I bought it is because I love bigger knives and the Military 2 is my favorite Spyderco. I've heard reviewers call this the lightweight Military so that piqued my interest by quite a bit. Another thing is the weight. 2.7 ounces for a 9 inch knife? Wow!

@@carmelotansengco4605 A lightweight military is a great way of describing the Stretch 2XL lightweight. The regular stretch 2 Lightweight in k390 is kind of like a lightweight PM2. I definitely have a stretch 2 XL lightweight coming in the near future, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the vg10 version like yours. I too have zero problems with vg10. It's actually probably my favorite non-powderformed stainless steel. I hope you enjoy your new knife, my friend. Thanks for watching

@@ChoiceCHOPS mine doesn't. I have had it for several months and it has never contacted the lanyard tube or any of the interior. That problem was addressed by Spyderco after the initial release.

I have two Spyderco Endurance Edella Warned Cliff and RockJumpre and finally received my Maxin 2 after waiting 2 months for restock only to discover that the lock does not work I loubed and played with it for almost 2 days and lock did not work had use 2 this tells me that they don't have no quality control 420 I was able to return it and get a full refund$200
