It's because the touch point of the. Lip is towards the end of the pad close to the texturing.. and the stretch doesn't use liners . Not sure of the endura

Cruwear is a bit tougher compared with k390. But the pd#1 really takes a smoking sharp edge. I love k390 especially the police 4 lw. I would love to get a g10 version they are just so hard to come by.

Mine had horrendous vertical blade play, so much so that it went for sale

It feels less “sturdy” because it has no steel liners, the handle is just all plastic.

I have a Steel Will that has an almost entirely plastic handle. I’d prefer a sturdier feel overall.

So i don't have an endura to compare it to but i have the stretch 2 xl and i love it. But i actually find the normal vg10 version sturdier than the burgundy one. Give the standard version a try if you have the cash.

@@jb7707 agreed! I’ve had so many over the years, the vg-10 models did feel more sturdy to me! It’s kind of bb like how I know they changed something with Pizza Hut above I was a kid. Something is different…

Love the Stretch series . Have 2 Stretch k390,2 Stretch 2 xl g10 an Endura 4 pd#1 , 2 police,2 Stretch 2 xl lw pd#1. Gonna stick a pd#1 blade in a g10 xl version…good video bud 👍🏻

@ If you can find one on the secondary market you will love it. I actually got mine LNIB for $200. Each. It’s a really great model. And Cruwear is a great steel. The blade is almost the exact shape and size as the Military 2’s blade.

I saw the video of the burgundy/black endura. I liked the color combo but wanted something a little bigger so I ordered a police 4 in that color combo. I hope it doesn’t have the same problem as the stretch. It will be here tomorrow so we shall see.

Such a weird choice to me that they optimized the Stretch XL for weight. The regular Stretch is actually heavier than the Endura and everyone raves about it.

I have a Resilience lightweight in S35VN with FRN. This colorway is awesome. I tweaked my Schempp knife to make it drop shutty snd it is a FUN flipper.

I prefer the endura 4. Its really the perfect knife. I'm hoping spyderco give the endura and delica a magnacut blade. They don't seem to want money though with their PM2 Tantos going for 400+ on the secondary.

The Stretch XL with K390 is better than those - it has liners so it feels like a G10 scaled knife

I really think you would like the Military 2 or Stretch 2 xl g10. The g10 Stretch xl is thinner than the lightweight version and the military 2 is just a bigger pm2 . The c/f s90v sprint is also a great model. Feels fantastic in hand. Enjoy
