Once again, they make it all seems so easy! I am not stupid and this is not as simple as Square make it out to be. They speak from a place of experience, never understanding that some of us are doing this for the first time.

Does that dock have a battery inside to keep my chip reader charged (or does it simply pass through power and charge the chip reader's battery?) I have the dock and the chip reader, however am trying to see exactly what benefits it (the dock ) offers.

Harmony Hollow Apiaries the dock has to be connected using usb to power and connect to your register!

I'm hoping this battery life is a lot stronger/longer than the plug in mag stripe/chip reader. I used that for only 3-4 hours with only a few transactions (hosted a popup shop). It died by the 4th hour. I had it plugged into the bottom of my iPhone 6s. My phone was well charged, as was the reader. I charged it all night prior to my show. I was so upset, seeing how you get charged MORE for having to type the credit card number in. Awful. Of course, that was the hour I had the most sales. Why would it die so soon??? It's only 6 months old.

Not a terrible tutorial but the narrator goes way to fast and doesn’t explain the steps she is doing or allow time for the merchant to do the activity she is breezing thru.

yes they are... these crooks just yesterday deactivated my account without giving me any kind of reason on top of that they are holding my money that was on my account for 90 days. you cant call in an talk to anyone to find out what happend or why they just out of no where did this. all you get is a vague email saying you have been deactivated an they are holding on to your money for no reason. the only socalled customer service people you can get ahold of in chat on the site say they cant tell you anything wont give you an actual number to talk with anyone about it. when i looked on their page i saw a lot of other people saying they had the same thing happen to them. all i can say is use it at your own risk but i would not recommend anyone useing square. i am about to send this in to the Better Business Bureau so they can look into this company its not right what they are doing to people. they just cost me almost $2000 worth of work since i cant take any kind of payments.
