Square Foot Gardening Basics - Family Plot

Gardening Expert Tonya Ashworth talks about the basics of square foot gardening. Square foot gardens are grown in raised beds, usually four feet square. The bed is then divided into square foot sections. There are several advantages to a square foot garden. They are small in size, you don’t need large garden equipment like a rototiller, there are almost no weeds, and they can grow many plants in the small space. In each square foot of garden you can grow sixteen carrots; a tomato, pepper or eggplant; four bush beans; or nine sweet peas.

I love Family Plot and wish it could be on live in Nashville. As a rabid raised bed gardener, I have experimented with more economical methods to make alternative Mel's Mix. Using 50% homemade leaf mold and 50% homemade compost and then adding some rock dust and worm castings, I get identical results with little cost. The leaf mold replaces the peat moss/coconut coir and the coarse vermiculite.

I have tried watching this video 5 times. When it gets to 21 seconds it stops. I have went to other videos on KZbin and watched without any problems. Just this video is having problems.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I am noticing the same thing when I play it. For me it pauses and re-buffers for about 5 seconds and then continues.
