Watching you care for your squirrel neighbors is always such a comfort. Especially today as we are losing one of our elderly dogs to liver cancer. Thank you for posting these little videos of sweetness and compassion. We have collected quite a menagerie ourselves outside since I started watching your videos. Our squirrels are very bold and know that our dogs will never hurt them - though as they are both shepherd dogs they both might try to herd them. They aren't even afraid of our cats (who aren't allowed out unsupervised) and will come quite close. Watching the small simple things you do for your squirrels has really helped me, and I'm glad I got to see such a lovely video of Cutie today. Thank you again.

I just can’t handle this cuteness overload. They are all so adorable. I did have 5 squirrels this spring and summer but I haven’t seen them in about a month. I’m worried about them. But hopefully they’ll come back as the weather gets colder because they know I’ll always have food for them.

Awww so adorable. I have always only fed our visiting squirrels in the front yard because of our dog. But the squirrels still go in the back sometimes . After years of working with my dog , I have finally trained her not to chase the squirrels . Now she just lays & watches them when they pass her. I am so thankful & happy for this.

Hello there Deary, that is awesome she is ready, to come inside, with just a crack on the window !!! I keep hoping, one day, when one of my crew of furry guys, gets injured, they will instinctively do the same thing, and hang out, until till they can recover properly. I have a little Guy right now, I call "big foot", for obvious reasons, he got mauled by a cat recently, and cannot put weight that foot. Its a miracle he gets around on three paws for now.. I wish he'd "come in" for a bit.. Take care, let the squirrels heal you...😊
