Dave this is awesome!! My wife and I have been together for 10 years(this year) our first date was going squirrel hunting, I cooked her a nice stew. She had never eaten squirrel at that point, now we make it an every year tradition to do a squirrel hunt and cook. Darn good eats and darn good video!!! Cheers thanks for all the education and entertainment!!

I love how so many places (other than here in Saskatchewan the wind capital of the planet) you can just set up a little stove with a cross bar and go to town. Here you need a base to put it on because the ground cover is so spikey and you need a tall wind shield because a calm breeze is 20km per hour here. No wind is 15kph or less. I envy a calm day meaning NO wind. Plus if I go to my favorite spot by the lake the breeze off the lake is constant and swirls. I envy the calm. LOL.

Dave, you really like old school and good harty chow as I do. I had one of those burners when I lived in New Zealand and I bought it brand new. Dave I was wondering if you are open to try a new way to make fire it's easy I've tried to get others to try but most people for some reason have to do it the hard way. The cordless drill used to make a bow fire no bow just a drill about 3 or 4 " long carved to fit the cordless drill my point the cordless drill is a magnificent bug out tool way better in damp condition's than the bow and you don't get tired. Dave be the first to show this to people I always keep one in my truck a good battery last a long time and it's another way that may save someone's life You are a good teacher and this can be done by a one arm person. My thanks Dave and God bless.
