I honestly love how adorable Mario and Sonic's interaction was, like the first time Mario was trying to do like a 'happy birthday!' shout of surprise and then realized that doing so ruined Sonic's cake and he's like "Oh, shit dude. I'm sorry!" and the other bit is him trying to make up for it by giving him the remainder of his slice of the cake.

SEGA announces yet another "back to basics" "JUST like you remember it back on genesis" classic sonic game, then Nintendo proceeds to steal all of the thunder with a game that seems really weird and experimental.
