I am going to Sremski Karlovci for a Bermet fortified wine 🍷. Will make sure to fill water 💧 bottle. My Israeli friends had to leave Novi Sad due to Serbia being put on their red list. For Israelis Serbia 🇷🇸 has become a very popular destination. Hopefully situation improves soon as it’s great having a new destination for Israelis. Many are interested in staying longer as Novi Sad offers a lot of opportunities for IT specialists. My friend served 3 extra years in the Israeli IT unit to be eligible for position upon graduation.

How stupid of her, telling people that Sremski Karlovci is not a town. Of course it's a town. It's not a city, perhaps, but I think it's quite safe to say that it certainly is a town, although not a very big one, but a town it is, because it has this very old and also very urban town center, also its area is much larger than that of an ordinary village, as well as its population, and on top of it, it is a seat of a municipality, a small one, I grant you that, but still a municipality, and there's no municipality in Serbia that hasn't got a town for its seat.

Exactly, it is actually so nontypical here. Combining sweet and salty is typical for some other national cuisines, but not at all for Serbian, and that is the only problem here - pushing the combination as Serbian. Honey could go well with pancakes later, for instance.
@SASACAPTAIN4 жыл бұрын
@Red Bird Obvously there are exceptions, nevertheless it is a far cry from typical and characteristic for Serbia.
