We were there few weeks few years ago. Spent most of the time in Hikkaduwa, but also took some pitstops in the middlelands as well. Lovely place. If it only be easier to get out of Colombo... Good job with the video and it brought back some memories with couple familiar places.

@@vagabrothers I'd honestly visit all the places you covered. Among my favourites were the elephant safari, the waterfall excursion and the visits to Buddhist temples. The food was also a welcomed incentive. I hope you guys can return to explore other areas in the near future (North and western). It's such a picturesque island, especially in Ella.

I know that Sri Lanka is an island country next to the Indian continent. It's a place that used to be a civil war because of religious issues. It's a good place to travel now.

@Anita Meena, the north east is heaven and I don’t know about Kashmir right now... I can talk about this issue all day but I don’t want to turn this comment section into a war zone. Kashmir will probably take time to be normal since there’s a lot of regulations from the government ( my brother lives there and this is a big problem for him), but Himachal is a great alternative. I personally think the south and the north east are amazing and overrated, so they should be visited more often (especially the north east)
