Yes, breaking it down to those little sections IS super helpful to understand. Bite size knowledge.

Dang this music is super relaxing! This tutorial was made perfect. Straight to the point so we can get better at mixing. But seriously..the nice choice of song, i found myself zoning out jamming to it at one point haha. Keep up the great content! -Alex

what exactly does dinamic sidechain do?
@Unders Жыл бұрын
The dynamic sidechain lets you control how loud or soft a certain part of the song is based on the volume of another part. It's like having a magic ear that listens to one part of the music and tells the tool to make changes to another part.
@alyctro8158 Жыл бұрын
@@Unders That's actually super cool! It's exactly what i would want, but does it work automatically? Do i need to set up anything else?
@Unders Жыл бұрын
@@alyctro8158 you will need to know how sidechain works in your DAW
@alyctro8158 Жыл бұрын
@@Unders I do, that's what i thought. Now it makes sense why it's meant to be used on a bus rather than individually. If i have two busses and it's basically sidechaining it self with the other, it should work. Thanks!

So I've been using hardware for a loooong time and plugins are new to me. For anyone....is this something I could use in conjunction with the SSL2 interface during live record?? I want to be able to emulate something akin to the DBX286 while I'm recording. Thx!

Have a look at UAD and there unison system for that.

hi , iv got a ssl six and only channel 1-2 have EQ , I have the ssl G channel strip in my DAW I only want to use the EQ in the software is that possible ? [if I turn the analogue switch of ] , thanks
@Unders4 жыл бұрын
Yeah just have the EQ active. If analogue is off its basically a digital EQ with SSL Shaping.

the difference between the e and g channel is that the LMF EQ got the 1/3 option (button) you can use this to do the puigtec trick in the lows ...
@Unders4 жыл бұрын
There quite a bit more than that according to the waves blog. www.waves.com/ssl-e-channel-or-g-channel#:~:text=The%20E%2DChannel%20delivers%20the,the%20mix%20a%20little%20more. However this is just a guide not a history of.
