Rick and Maddy I have been following your channel for some time now. I want to congratulate you and Maddy on your wedding and the pregnancy. Maddy is going to be a wonderful mother and you a great father. It was wonderful to se Daniel's message. He captured wonderful memories of your time in Columbia. Congratulations to Daniel for his new love. I have been sailing since the early 1980's and have owned 3 boats in that time. We do love what you do Daniel and hope you never stop...in fact ALL the people of Armada and San Andres have touched our hearts...we know fantastic when we see it and can't wait to get back there and see more! I highly suggest welding some extra bracing over that rudder part that broke instead of just welding the breaks again, it also needs added strength.

Watching Tiki dancing with Maddy when she is decked out is beautiful. African Grey's bond for life with their owners but it is hit or miss with their friends and family. It takes time but it seems Tiki knew Maddy could be trusted. Look forward to your next adventure.

a trick i learned at fire fighting school!--best standby tool when welding, is to have handy a "large bottle of warm beer" in case of fire, remove top , pour out small amount then with thumb on top, shake bottle & aim at base of fire!!--( demo extinguish burning gallon of petrol in seconds) then drink remaining beer

That cooler cover is really beneficial because it keeps moisture out of your system, the dryer the air the less energy needed to fight water phase changes (making unnecessary ice).

No Need to cut that new sheet of clear plastic. Just attach thin wood strips to the ends to add an axis for rolling up the sheet quickly - from either end. But since you've already cut it in two pieces each piece could have its own roll-up strip on the ends.
