I am a Norvus Ordo altar server. I serve every week the Vigil Masses in Ironton, Ohio. I admire the Latin Mass and I have attended it. I am not a Latin speaker and I get very little out of it. I pay attention to everything in the Mass. I have to as a Server. I am 52 years old and served from age 15 to age 18 in high school, and was asked by my Pastor to again serve in 2020 because the kids don't show up. Last November it became I serve EVERY week. I have been asked to serve funerals again which I haven't done since 1991 and I will do this because in another 20-30 years My funeral will be at St. Joseph and I want it to be served! We have two adult altar servers in my Parish, myself and a 2020 graduate of St. Joseph High School. I am a 1991 graduate. He serves the Sunday Mass and I serve the Vigil Mass.

We only have 2 bishops left. These brave holy men faced persecution from the Vatican for saving the Traditional Latin Mass. The priestly fraternity of SSPX (society of St. Pius X) is the only reason I went back to church after 41 years. The modern church had no spiritual benefit for me and I never looked back after my marriage in 1980. My soul is on the path to salvation because of brave priests and bishops like this man. Archbishop LeFebvre started this society and should be canonized for saving Tradition. Please, fellow Catholics, don’t denigrate any holy vocations that are helping souls get to heaven. RIP Bishop Tissier🙏🏼🥲❤️🕊️

Francis has said that the SSPX are Catholics. The Society has been moving closer to Rome. Remains to be seen what direction they take in this lack of bishops situation.
