coljan1701a - these bells are being being chimed. Why are they not being rung? Is the tower not strong enough?

they just sound odd because they're steel naylor vickers bells.. the back five bells of these are probably their best sounding ring! along with the retuned Hale. The tower is indeed too weak to support them swinging properly.

@@ringeradam4575 An update. 2024. on inspection it was found that one of the supporting pillars in the tower is rotten and needs replacing, so the bell tower has been closed due to safety issues, this means that until the tower is repaired the bells are not able to be rung.
