I think one of my favorite things about the Saint Augustine lighthouse is that it has breaks from climbing the stairs and the little facts you can read at different points going up.

I went to St. Augustine about 5 years ago for a Christmas vacation and it really was nice. Seeing the buses full of carollers singing and all the lights set up and the energy in the air really brought the place to life. I wouldn't see that kind of life in my home city of Baltimore.

We LOVE St. Augustine and have family there. We did the Night of Lights in November 2020. It was packed full of people, fun and beautiful Christmas decorations. We enjoyed a trolley tour. The history is our amazing.

After seeing this very nice video I was thinking that I will have to return because you showed a lot of places that we did not visit when we went. By chance when we went to the fort they did a reenactment with people dressed as Spanish soldiers and they also fired one of the cannons. That is an invariable memory that our luck gave us in St Augustine

I like Saint Augustine textiles store for the costumes. I also like the antique shops that are a few blocks north by the hotels

Great video guys. Really need to visit this place. Dale Winton before he passed was a huge fan of Florida and he did a show for us the UK viewers. His programme on St Augustine was great he visited the Fort etc and did the ghost walk at night. He also went and had his fortune read , that was really interesting. Calling St. Augustine our oldest city, is like saying Thomas Jefferson wrote Constitution. Sounds good, but completely false. San Juan, Puerto Rico is over 40 years older. Like Washington DC, Puerto Rico is not a state, but still a piece of the US of A.
