He fits well with what we need. I expect that he'll play centre with Clark and Steele, Pou rotating. He's also versatile with height, pickup and foot skills, so he guaranteed has a place somewhere as he ages

Good pick up by the saints, i think is form will be a lot better with the saints, he will be consistently playing in his best position. Where as at the dogs he was played out of position consistently so many times.

We have no buisiness with players if that's their perogative, and no indicators Macrae is this style. Happy about that. I pick him regularly in Supercoach and called him early as a potential prospect to explore. For 45, bargain!!👍 Keen to get the Saint supporter dogs give him the approval at training over summer (and he's made our random resident cat very happy. Weird cat, but he knows Western Bulldogs intel🤷‍♀️). If he plays Saints or needs a game to ease in in Zebs, likely I'll be there cheering either way.

It was a salary dump for the Dogs. Need to get games into Garcia and Sanders. Plus Gallagher goes through the midfield. Now Kennedy as a mid-forward. On top of Bont, Richards, Treloar and Libba. Macrae will be a great pick up for the Saints. Buys you time until your draftees are two or three years in. Win-win. Over 2 mill off the books for the Dogs
