Installed one of these at the very end of last season. Only was able to play one round with it before winter set in and shut me down. Cant wait to play this full season with it. The change in feel of my putter alone is incredible.

Brilliant interview Ian, (though I think Blair seemed shocked that you knew so much about his product). So my plan is to get one of these shafts fitted onto a 2019 EvnRoll Putter (model yet to be decided) and probably fitted with one of their new Gravity Grips (as soon as they are available in the UK). Then, "Hey Presto" no more 3 Putts ever again!

Exactly my plan!! Im thinking that ER5 in Murdered out black with the black gravity.....drool. I was fitted at TXG last year and the ER5 was the one, but I waited on the purchase.....Glad I did, that black one is drippy. Now to see if there available in Canada!!

What are the main differences between this and the UST Frequency Filtered Putter Shaft? Especially at such a large price difference between the two, it would be interesting to see a comparison.

What's the difference between this and UST Mamiya's Frequency Filtered putter shafts? Would like to see a head2head comparison, if possible.

Alberto, the UST FF is a sound/feel story. UST claimed it was built to dampen vibrations and filter out unneeded sounds within a certain range of frequencies. It does that and sounds and feels good. The STABILITY Shaft is more Performance Driven in terms of allowing the player to deliver the face squarer at impact. The Stability putter shaft is reinforced to be far less flexible and torque less.

At what head weight would it not make as much difference? Seems like they were referencing a heavier type head weight like mallet/half mallet putters.

I have a strong arc in my stroke with a 2.5 scotty 'slant neck' in the bag. Will this shaft still work in the sense I may need the rotation to square the face or will a shaft like this with less torque leave the face wide open? Hope that makes sense.

This one is meant to increase stability of the clubhead the stroke lab shaft is more of a weighting thing IE counterbalancing the putter.

Stroke lab also has a much higher torque rating also. I was fit by Blair himself at his studio and saw the difference between the two after I asked the exact same question. Absolutely nothing like this on the market and couldn’t have been engineered and manufactured by a better guy. Blair and his team are absolutely top notch!

You need to look at the Full Carbon Grip and Shaft in the UK... Its 100g total with the Carbon grip !! Gmac Putter shaft...the strongest shaft and LEAST Deflection... on the market..

I just put one of these on my ER2. Time will tell how it really works but the first round I put it in play I went from a 36-40 putt guy to having only 32 putts my first time out with it and a guy who normally shoots 85-90 to shooting 83 which is the lowest round I've had in about a year.

Yes, and you have the option of shipping to them for installation (added fee) or I got the shaft installed at my local pro shop, who didn't charge me anything.@@stephendibari7704

@@stephendibari7704 I was fortunate that when I ordered my putter from EVN Roll they sent me an extra grip. I did keep the original shaft ang grip though and may still try to salvage the grip.

Jose Cuervo-drinker nice. My ER2 will be 2 years old this March. Hopefully they could save it With an air compression Gun. I have a couple favorite superstroke grip’s I can select, but I prefer to use the original Evnroll 1.2 grip.

You can either buy them online direct from BGT and get a Fitter local to you to fit it onto your Putter. Or your Fitter should be able to source them for you.

Is this the concept that Callaway has put into their new Stroke Lab line of putters? Also, with what looks like a larger diameter shaft at the top of the shaft, will any putter grip still work or does it require a larger hole in the grip to receive the shaft? Callaway also looks like they do some things with weights as well. I'd be interested in your reviewing the Stroke Lab putters and comparing it to a putter fitted with the Stability shaft. Great interview.

David Lum stroke lab is a counterbalancing feature. They remove me about 40 grams from the shaft and added weight (think 10 grams to the head) and 30 grams to the grip end
