Hi angelxx I FEEL GAMBLER may be moving, in the very best way, happy you enjoyed show, and thank God you got a body protectorxx Sadly even with all teaching ive done, seen worrying falls, even Gambler doing a runner, was quick as lightning,, and could have happened to anyone. A while ago, teaching lady natural horsemanship, which is all i do now, was having microchip injected, and pony turned and almost threw her under its hooves. PLEASE i say these things, NOT to scare, BUT BE AWARE, cannot emphasize enough hats body protectors, even turning out etc. Ponies look lovely, unless you,ve done it EG hardly any hot water, no electric, no total safe tackroom, so you constantly haul things a to b,,,,,, no school, you create bloomin miracles. So very proud of you, NB Rugs you mentioned, etc about now. Hugs to all ponies xx

Yes winter is definitely here now 😭 We wasn’t meant to get any snow but I woke up this morning to it heavily snowing, sadly it did turn to rain and all got washed away

Hi Karen. Looks live hives. My pony is out in hives at the moment they can look all different think the temperature changes alot of those annoying midgie flies too I have been reading about preventing these and I read something like flax seed oil ( linseed ) something higher in omega 3 and lower omega 6 helps so I’ve ordered that

Hi Karen, It may be worth trying some SUDO CREME (think I spelled it right) on those lumps on Willow. I know that a lot of people use it on their horses. What a nice tack shop I wish that I'd have had something like that when I had my horses. Unfortunately I had to give up my horses a long time ago and I still miss it now and its been more than 20 years. Its really awful when circumstances change. Looking forward to your next video. Lots of love. Jill. Birmingham. West Midlands. England. XXXXXXXX

@KarenBadrick1Ай бұрын
Thank you I’ve been washing it with the triscrub regularly and he is definitely less itchy They are due worming but I was waiting for it to frost first (should be cold enough this week for a frost) so will definitely get that done this week now x

My 2 year old Welsh D is so itchy and has the same scabs! I've ordered deosect, going to use that and hibiscub then put antibacterial spray on with filtabac. Hope you sort willow out. ❤ hopefully it works xxx
@KarenBadrick1Ай бұрын
Thank you The vet was here seeing to one of the others the other day so gave him a check over, They think it’s just a rash from the mild weather and getting sweaty so to keep washing with the likes of hibiscrub and putting sudocream on the lumps xxx

We have a Welsh cross on the yard and a few winters ago, she was covered in a rash, very similar to that. Was like spots, then they scabbed and came off with tufts of hair. Poor thing was so itchy. Turned out it was a reaction to haylage, so is now only fed hay and hasn't had a problem since
@KarenBadrick1Ай бұрын
Oh god 😭 He was on haylage without a problem for years, but then I thought he was putting on to much weight so changed him to hay (different farmer) he’s been on that for a few weeks now, I didn’t think nothing of that due to the time he’s been on it but definitely could be a possibility 😩
@pixie706Ай бұрын
Looks a bit like rainscald type of rash. I think that's a fungal thing
@horsiemommaoffour8154Ай бұрын
That’s what I thought as well
@KarenBadrick1Ай бұрын
Yes I’m thinking possibly rain scald, I’ve been washing it regularly and putting sudocream on it, One side is definitely healing up quickly but the other side still has a few spots I do have the vet coming to see Ebby on Friday so they can look over it then for me x
@bethanjones6339Ай бұрын
Ooh which BP did u go for I have to get a new one for workers as hoping to do some with the new cob …nearly died when saw how £££ they are now 😅😂can’t put a price on safety tho ❤
@KarenBadrick1Ай бұрын
I went for the pro vent race safe, I tried a few on but I felt this one wasn’t as bulky as the others, I was shocked at the price 😩 £286 I’m pretty sure my old one never cost half as much as that but as you say you can’t put a price on safety x
