Carmelo, Sonya and Dragon Lee got me. Priest's is easy if you remember his old theme as he and Balor just got remixed versions. And guys....you're not gonna live down having that much trouble with Gunther's theme for awhile. Judgement Day too, but at least that part you heard is skipped sometimes. The Gunther part is heard any time he comes out and is only skipped if his music isn't played. And that's on top of it saying his name....twice 🤣

It’s interesting that they often say that the theme they’ve just heard is ‘generic’. I imagine it’s difficult to come up with a different theme for every single wrestler on the roster, but there’s definitely a ‘sound’ that’s dominant in any era. Right now it’s all a combination of over-produced synth versions of things, sometimes over a chugga-chugga metal guitar sound (very Slipknot-esque), while for a long time there was a lot of half-time guitar themes (‘wrestlemetal’) and atonal detuned riffs. It’s rare that we get a genuine stand-out theme, and even LA Knight’s is fairly straightforward. (also Bray’s original theme - with the bass riff and cleanish guitar - was far more interesting than any other theme from recent years)

Dante always says every theme is generic, and most of the times what he heard is only the intro and not actually the song. And in other theme quizes he have said generic about some of the best and most recognisable themes of all times (Think he said it about Metalingus once for example). It seems to be just his default comment/complaint when he really is just frustrated about not getting the answer yet.

The problem is he bases it off a snippet. He says Solo and Bobby have similar themes and yeah the intros are similar but after the intro Solo’s theme transitions to a rap. Bobby’s doesn’t have lyrics and is the same beat. Also Omos’ theme I think has (or had) a rap to it. Ironically some of the most iconic themes like Umaga, Hulk Hogan and Macho Man were stock music. Hogan and Savage literally copied their themes from older wrestlers (Hogan took real American from the US Express and Savage took Pomp from Gorgeous George). Of course Flair used Also Sprach Zarathustra for nearly his whole career (except his first WWF run when Jim Johnston produced a similar-ish theme “Early Sprach)
