Most established languages have tooling to let you export your in-code docs into formal docs. Having a good comment-as-you-go approach is a time & career-saver.

For me its being picomanaged to death. I spend > 80% of my time talking about what i'm doing so people who have no ability, and all the authority, can weigh in.

@@TravisMediaI turned off my vpn and it worked. Your delivery system is tracking ISPs like lots of other software, where I have to turn off VPN. I think it’s trying to prevent spam requests.

​@@JJ-bj6hg Kotlin is just one of many would-be "Java killers" that have come & gone. It's nice enough, but doesn't really offer significant benefits over modern Java generally, or even in mobile, specifically. Google backed it because they didn't want to pay Oracle, but that's mostly resolved, so they'll probably ignore it. Career-wise, whereas Java is a very portable skillset, no one outside of native-Android even knows about Kotlin.
