Twice in my life this has happened to me - the dreaded bad cut. In fact my last haircut was awful. She didn't even come close to what I asked for and everyone I know who saw it couldn't hide the fact they knew it looked terrible. And the "stylist" went so short all I could do is wait. Bad haircuts are no joke. They can affect people's careers and social lives and confidence and self esteem. Yes it will grow. But putting someone through months of unhappiness and insecurity because you're bad at your job is hard to forgive

A lot of your hair cuts have spiked looks. Would you do one that is soft with a lot of movement and less product. I have a short on one side with long on the other that’s stacked in the back. I only use a morrocan oil and root lifter. .. you do such a nice job though. I cut hair too and you have taught me a lot. Thanks

I grew my hair out but, I wore it stacked for years. I like going to the same person. It stresses me out going through stylists, I stress so bad. I would tell them and show them what I wanted and will say " This is what I want, if you can't do this don't be afraid to tell me, I will respect you a lot more than if you say " OH yeah, I can't do that" and you mess up my hair, you don't want to see me upset about my hair" lol and I guess I scare them enough that they do tell me yes or no lol

I'm an old hairdresser so I can't criticise the haircut but if I was looking at the same lady she didn't look like she was tearing up but gave a nice at the end. Myself I'm not fond of a haircut like that, I just think of they care afterwards. A great haircut is no matter where your hairs at it looks good. A good haircut is the foundation of the style.

+Anita Burgers I agree with you. The fact that she never uses industry terminology shows us fellow cosmetologists that she is lacking something. She doesn't even use a nozzle when drying her second client. Perhaps continuing education and trends would really propel her forward in her home salon. $$$ I've been casually following some of these videos for hair cutting guidelines because she simplifies them and that has helped me understand some things faster, but I always keep in mind that she comes from what looks like a "Midwest small town" and that is what's trending over there. No disrespect in that terminology. With all honesty, geography always has its unique trends.
