Stage 1 for the Cupra R 2.0 TFSI at Matt-Tec Tuning

My MK2 Leon Cupra R is finally getting is well deserved remap!
Welcome to another Video. Today I'm getting a remap done on the Cupra's 2.0 TFSI engine. After 10 years of ownership, I've managed to get in touch with a locally guy Matty, who runs 'Matt-Tec Tuning' up here in the far north of Scotland.
He specialises in vehicle diagnostics, software and hardware related, as well as DPF and EGR applications.

As well as wanting a remap, the rolling road session was also to test what extra power my TDI tuning box made on the car vs stock power. I have had it for about a year now, and although no issues, I didn't feel it was performing as well as a remap would.
You'll have to stay 'Tuned' to see the results and the final BHP from Matty's Stage 1 software.

Yeah mate, must say I wasn't overly impressed with it sadly. For the cost, I was hoping it was going to be a bigger increase. The remap is performing flawlessly tho 👌🏻 so pleased I swapped

@@NorthCoastWorkshop They wanted it back to tweak it, gave it away in the end. The garage that remapped my cars said they weren't good.

Nice results :-) i got stage 1 without anything (240hp stock) on 305hp. With Ramair intake 338hp and now i am going on stage 2+ with 375hp and 510nm :D and still looking as stock car, so i really enjoy the power on 3rd gear when you flat out :-)

Wow you live on a nice place :) Good power results. Mine was at 298hp and 426nm with a stage 1 remap. No other performance parts. Want to do a soft stage 2 to got 330ish hp but i'm not sure. Maybe i just save my money for a 5f st cupra. I want to much things :(

I'm the same, I want more mods and more power but I need MORE MONEY 🙈🤣 Yeah it is nice up here, very scenic. 298bhp is very good, with no additional parts 👍🏻 Stage 2/2+ is when it gets expensive sadly. I'm keen to do the same myself, but have to spend money on a respray 1st for all the surface rust, damage on the car so it looks just right 👌🏻

Isnt this a stage 2 remap as you have an exhaust and air filter on?

Apologies, I thought I'd replied to this a week ago. I think it's kinda in between stage 1 and 2 as stage 2 tends to require an intercooler to help keep intake temps down as the boost is increased. So it's maybe a stage 1.5 😂 That may be on the cards next, an intercooler and uprated HPFP 😁 Cheers for watching 👍🏻
