I remember sitting at my kitchen table face down crying ... pulling handfuls of hair and laying it on the table... I was traumatized. My hair has come back now but that Trauma is always there. No one around you will understand how horrible it feels... God bless you !

first 5 seconds: "spoiler alert nothing major to report" GIRL!! Tell me you deal with cancer and scans without telling me you deal with cancer and scans LOL. I love it!!! My son was 7 when he was diagnosed with a high grade aggressive bone cancer. He's 11 now (doing well) but I totally NEED to know the results from scans within the first 5 seconds of a doctor calling or walking in with results. Like dont ask me how my day is going, dont care about the weather we are having, just cut the crap and give me the info. So thanks for giving us the goods right off the bat. Thank you for sharing your story- I have stage IIIC and am on Letrozole and Kisquali too. Your symptoms from Kisquali resonated with me. Like you, I also get tired in the afternoon and need to rest. I was getting nauseous with Kisqali and started eating a bit of bread with it (I don't eat a lot of gluten) and it helped (and I take it at night). P.S. I think your hair is SO cute!

I haven't cried much when it comes to my cancer journey. I have cried more about losing my horse Bella (in my profile pic) to cancer right before my own cancer diagnosis though. Cancer is so shitty. I say cry to let out the emotions, but don't cry so much that it takes over your life, because you don't want to be wasting any precious time crying. ❤

Stay strong ❤ I am loving the hair!! Had breast cancer 2022, went through all the treatments and radiation 2023. Was on Zoladex and Exemestane till mid July 2024. Oncologist wasnt doing checks on my hormones so I had my Gynocologist do it and it turns out Zoladex wasnt working as it should. Ended up doing a full hysterectomy 4 weeks ago and doctor put me on Veozah starting today. I have 1 year scans coming this Friday and I totally understand life is at a stand still until you have answers or just all the time really. It's what is causing my depression for sure. So have you thought about taking Veozah for the hot flashes?

The pain in your spine, joints and bones in general is probably there because you are taking letrozole. It's a common side effect of aromatase inhibitors. I was taking anastrozole in the first year after my treatment. I was in so much pain, every bone in my body was hurting and I was convinced that my cancer came back. It turned out that it was the anastrozole. I switched to examestane and can handle it much better although I still feel 100 years old on some days.
