Good to know about the glass paint! Kilns aren't cheap, haha. If you're taking video topic requests, I'd love to see how you use that glass paint, or a video about designing a good pattern. Thanks for the videos!

Hello!! You're awesome, thank you so much for sharing your skill and artistry with us! Does the rapid resizer program also help you create designs? If not, I'm wondering what program you use to sketch out/finalize your designs. Thank you in advance!
@sunbearglasscraft80653 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I use clip studio paint for my program. Rapid resizer is basically only for resizing and adding finishing touches to the design (glass color, etc). I'm actually making a video about pattern design right now and should have it out in the next few days :)!

Hello sorry if this question has been asked before but where do you get your stained glass “sheets” from? :) I’m in Scotland so will most likely have to get online
@sunbearglasscraft80653 жыл бұрын
Please don't apologize, it's a great question! I honestly get most of my glass in person - I'm lucky enough to live by two shops. I've ordered glass on Etsy before (usually small sheets, like 4"x7") and have only ordered full sheets once before from anythinginstainedglass.com. I know a few of my followers have ordered from Delphi and Franklin art glass, although I'm uncertain of what the shipping costs will be to get it to you in Scotland! Hope that helps :)

Hi Orla I'm in Glasgow and we have an awesome shop in Hanson street. They're open 10-4 Mon to Fri and Kathleen and Peter are super helpful and friendly. Hope this helps, Rebecca

People that share their knowledge like this have a special place in heaven lol :) so you bake the pieces that you paint per the instructions, and it really never comes off? Even after all the chemicals in the last steps? I’ve been trying to find something like this for about a month now.

Haha you're sweet! Yes, once it dries and is baked it's hard to get off. It IS still possible to scrap it off, but with normal patina/polish/etc, it stays on just fine. I will say be careful if you do super fine details - if there's only a thin coat of paint it can come off with polishing. This happened to me when I painted very faint veins in a bees wing (like seriously just wisps of paint, very dumb on my part lol). Otherwise I've never had a problem!!

I'd like to buy the magnifying light you show in the video. Can you tell me where you bought it? or provide a link. Many thanks. Charlene Pilon

I'm not sure where you're located, but in the states I found something similar at Hobby Lobby and Joann Fabrics.

I have a gas oven can the paint still be used in my oven. Thanks
@sunbearglasscraft80653 жыл бұрын
The requirements for setting the paint is to bake at 325 f for 40 minutes. I dont believe the power source would have an effect as long as the temperature stays consistent, but for any uncertainty I would reach out to the company :)
