Stan is an icon here in aotearoa, he is also a survivor of stomach cancer..he thought he wouldnt be able to sing again not having a stomach after having it removed but it had made him bounce back stronger and better..love stan walker

You should hear his very first audition for Australian Idol! Despite being so young and nervous, it was just him and a guitar singing John Legend’s - Ordinary People! It was rushed a little bc of his nerves but at age of 18 or 19 it was just pure soul. Stan’s voice has grown since then but his instrument, his voice was gifted to him. He’s one of a kind! 💎

You may not know but Stan doesn't have a stomach. It was removed a number of years ago. He was incredible before his operation and even more so after. He won Australian Idol back in 2009. His audition video here on KZbin is a treasure to watch. Also a documentary also on KZbin following his health journey and operation.

😍😍😍😍😍😍yes Stan his voice is beautiful. Kayne West Cover and that being his song to his people his culture and the shit you got through... Arohamai(much love) fStan chose that song for that reason but alsol letting everyone know that everyone matters. All lives. all cultures... his acknowledgement to Yous from us, all the otherside of the world they call DOWN UNDER lol We also follow stans reactions, we love him dearly and not only for his songs but him as a person and the passion he has for indigenous people.Stan had it very hard growing up, he been through so much we can feel through his performances.
