So cute 🥰 where I live in northern England children still wave when a train passes, waiting to cross and on the train. I’ll wave back 😂 I used to teach so I don’t mind looking a bit crazy 😂 I do it on the bus too, so many toddlers and small children wave and blow kisses as they’re getting off the bus 😂 In my family we all share child care, when it’s my turn to take them to school we all say good morning to anyone we pass, particularly elderly people. They always say it was as the children chorus ‘good morning’ but when they’re with the others they don’t…very strange to me. Maybe it’s because I used to teach, no matter how much I want to sit on the bus and just read the news or something I make myself put a smile on my face, greet people and since I’m often sat in the front disabled area I’m often surrounded by elderly people. I make myself chat, I’ve been told so often that I was the only person they chatted to in days. They might have said good morning to a post person or something, but not an actual chat. I’m not into cafes, I have loads of allergies abd it bugs me paying for just black coffee, but I’ve had a drink with loads of random people. If anyone is out an about take the time to speak to people, compliment the colour of their coat or say it looks a lovely cosy coat. It doesn’t take much effort, we could all be incredibly lonely at some point in our lives.

I’ll get in here first & answer a question that’s bound to get asked “why don’t they but up a chain or rope barrier to keep the public from interacting with the horse?” I’ll give you two reasons not to, one at times the horses act up causing them to move forward out & around onto the pavement not always fully in control so they could become entangled in the barrier possibly causing injury to itself, the rider & the public, the pavement is also a public right of way.
@annbeirne9583 Жыл бұрын
Public right of way is no excuse, they soon find other reasons to put up barriers like when they had the London marathon, the horses and guards should be the main concern, the threat to them of attack by nut jobs and terrorists should be taken very seriously besides there is a large pavement on the other side of the road, heaven forbid people should have to cross the road. With the escalation of wars in the world and the hatred for Britain and its people on the whole! We should be more careful lets face it there have been some very odd people hanging about the horses and guards recently, mostly drunk or drugged up to the eyeballs. What if they had put their hand under the horses neck and drew a knife across it, the guard wouldn't be able to see it, and lets face it the people filming wouldn't point it out until it is too late, would like to feel that the powers that be are concerned about the men, women and horses but it seems they keep bowing to this ridiculous idea of public right of way. Lets face it, it all comes down to money no other reason, and as I have said many times before other countries wouldn't be so soft and mamby pamby. People keep writing about the disrespect shown well if they were treated as a military establishment under the official secrets act this wouldn't never be allowed.
@Lillian-Alice-Margaret Жыл бұрын
The Kings guards and Kings horses are on duty. So no barriers can be put up. Even if a sign was put up to stay clear of the guards and horses. No one would read it just like they don't read the one that is already there. Shame the Kings guards can't charge at them.
