This is an IFR training Video about the Standard Arrival Route.
The IFR Aeroplanes use the STARs to leave the en-route phase and approach the destination Airport.
The Standard Arrival Route is the phase of flight that connects the airway to the approach procedure.
A STAR has a name that identifies it, waypoints along the route and the last point of the procedure (in this case TFN) arrives close to the destination Airport.
Let’s talk about the Standard Arrival Route explained in this video…
An Aeroplane that is required to fly the TERTO 1L has to fly from TERTO to LZR, then from LZR to LARYS and from LARYS to TFN.
From TFN, which is the last point of the START, the Pilot, needs to follow another procedure, called approach, that will allow him to fly from TFN to the touchdown.

Hey, thanks for watching!! The Radial inbound TFN is the 082 inbound, because when you are flying inbound TFN you are on the Radial 082... I hope I answered your question

Hey, Many thanks for watching this video! Normally, when flying IFR you use the following charts in the following sequence: 1. SID chart (from the take-off to the airway), 2. Enroute chart (used during the cruise), 3. STAR chart (from the airway to the Initial Approach fix) 4. Approach Chart (from the Initial Approach fix to the landing) Some Airports have the so called ''Transitions'', which are additional procedures to follow between to the SID and the Enroute part of the flight and between the STAR and APPROACH procedure. Let me know if I answered your question. I wish you a great day! Gabriele Pilotclimb
