This video saved my life. I've got serious knee issues that I almost had to stop taking dance lessons. Doctors didn't help, but thanks to this exercise which I do regularly, I am able to dance again. And dance is life, so that is why you saved my life. :) I have also found my life partner thanks to dance lessons, everything is connected. :)

The next day, I had so much energy and no knee pain at all! Thank you! I know this video is a bit older and I'm not sure if you've done others like this, I'll have to check, but a little feedback for you, I'm sure someone else has mentioned this. It would help to film your whole body because it's hard to begin the exercise with you if we can't see what you're doing down below, especially when you're new to the video. I will be checking out your other videos! Thanks again!

I´ve been doing metabolic conditioning programs (calisthenics-based with occasional dumbbell-based work) for years and - even though I thought I was in extraordinary shape for a 47 year- old man, I developed knee and shoulder (rotator cuff) issues that began to bring me increasing amounts of discomfort and pain. Out of desperation, I began to look around KZbin for rotator cuff rehab workouts. That´s how I came across your shoulder workouts and began to do them before I moved on to metcon. The relief was immediate. Then, I got curious and started looking around the channel for knee workouts and found this one, which I did today following the shoulder workout. Now, I´m suscribing to the channel. These workouts are great.

@dradamfields3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for letting me know. You may have some type of internal derangement or a tibia misalignment. If the tibia has gone posterior, we often see the knee "give out" when running/walking down hill. I want you to do the DEEP muscle work/foam roller at the ITB/Vastus Lateralis junction and stretch out your popliteus multiple times per day. If you were in my office i would be adjusting, possibly using ESWT, checking your hips, looking for myofascial trigger points and possibly ordering an MRI. All that being said, I would continue to do the exercises while you continue your search.
@govindaswamy3643 жыл бұрын

Good question. I like to fully engage the quads making it straight. If you are comfortable with this.
@gaudia39854 жыл бұрын
Wondered about this as well coz couldnt see it in the video. But i think i prefer Taichi's rationale re proper knee alignment. Legs ahould always be SLIGHTLY bent for stability and balance. A taichi instructor once told me to stand wirh my legs straight and then gave me a slight push. I stumbled back. When he showed me the proper stance, i couldnt topple. This aside, the vid is very helpful for muscle training i need for the new normal.

@raynehall54643 жыл бұрын
Each time I try to follow the video, I find more contradictions. So often, tell the viewers to do one thing, and do something different yourself. This makes it awkward to know what I'm supposed to be doing - follow your spoken instructions or your demonstration? When you tell us to hold at the top for one second each time, but don't hold for one second yourself (for one tenth of a second perhaps), what are we supposed to do? Also, are you aware that with some movements, you're you're doing the exercise with one leg twice, and with the other not at all? Each time I try to do this, I get more confused. Have you watched it yourself, critically? I think you may be surprised how many contradictions there are. Perhaps it would be good if you could get future videos checked before you publish them.

Hi Adam, I just had this thought 🤔.... You have a really good likeable personality the type that, can just seems to lure people with your funniness 😀 and caring ☺️gestures. That, I believe you could be the male version of @UCag7XoiJLutjBTsM0tAzUzg by doing exercises that help tone and heal people (something like that). Lucy, is really delightful 🤗, lovely and you can tell that, she really cares. I have being doing her workouts for some months now and every single one, I enjoy and feel like she is in the room with me. Lucy, has over one million subscribers, everyone just LOVES Lucy🥰. Anyway, that was just a thought of mine, I thought I would share with you because, you kind of give the same feel that you get with Lucy but, the male version. Ok, I am off to do my jaw exercises haha 😂. Seriously, I do them most nights before my bedtime yoga 😴. I do yoga with, 'Boho beautiful' another lovely lady and her husband is also really nice. One of their really good videos that provides a good idea of what they do is, 'yin yoga 'forgiveness'. Night xx now hopefully I will have my own inspiring ideas YIPPEE!😜
