Hi Stanley, thank-you for this video! I have used Canva to make many labels for my candles but before printing them off I am wondering whether you know if there might be any legal (copyright) troubles with using their fonts/shapes/elements and whether you have encountered any? I attempted to work with Canva last night and found it to be limiting. I would find a text within a photo that I liked, but then the remainder of text boxes either didn’t have a font I liked, or didn’t have enough text boxes. The delineating line was too thick. Fonts from more than one text photo can’t be used together and it was just frustrating for me. I already had a logo, but I haven’t have an inexpensive way to edit it. I am sooooo frustrated. If you have any other suggestions, Jeff, I would greatly appreciate it! Also, Avery doesn’t have a 1 1/2” x 3 or 4” clear rectangle label. Grrrrrrrr!!! Thanks so much for your HELP!! Many thanks for all the help you offer! You are a candle saint! 🙏🏻💗
@christopherplatt85303 жыл бұрын
Hi, I noticed you use 'TrueBlock' labels. I'm guessing this is the same as 'Coverup Paper' (Avery UK), a label that is thicker than regular paper labels. I was just wondering if you buy these because they are better quality or look better on the jars. I onlyask as I previously bought regular paper labels from Avery to have a go at printing my own but they seem really thin and look cheap :/ I'm thinking of buying some of the coverup labels to see what they are like. What would you recommend? Thanks :D
@StandleyHandcrafted3 жыл бұрын
Yea the ones I used in this don’t look good for candles. I use those labels mainly for other products that don’t need a nice label, like wick bags. I have some nicer ones this size for candles.
