Actually, it's the Roy/Ari from a parallel universe that gets brought in as a guest host in such cases. You can tell because Mirror Roy's suit comes with built in mind slaving rays, and Mirror Ari is _such_ an obvious crackhead, having never been introduced to the loving arms of Sweet Lady Shroom.

As someone who lived in Doooooooooothan alabama, I can tell you this is 100% the way it is. You'd come out of the Piggly Wiggly and there would be a flyer on the window promoting a comedy show either that very night or the next, by some unknown promotion company: usually initials, like KD Promotions or the such and a bunch of unknown comics. I was looking at one and a guy walked up and said "That's a dope show, man. Be careful." I had no idea what he was talking about. I thought he meant it was "dope," little 'd.' So I went. :D

BREAKocean :: Just so you’re aware, I recommend referring to it as ‘Soul Food’, not Black People food. We’re not fish or dogs so referencing our food as such sounds rather degrading. 😉 :: Growing up Black, I’ve been educated on what the Chitlin’ Circuit is, thanks to artists like Lou Rawls, James Brown & Little Richard and yes, it was a stream of venues that catered to Black performers. However, the line just wasn’t funny (the crowd didn’t even laugh.) I’m guessing the OP thought it was funny because they’ve never heard of it before. I don’t know. I’m just confused as to where the hilarity rose from. 🤷🏽♀️
@jamalpeoples37364 жыл бұрын
It's actually called the chitlin circuit. Meals were often included in performers pay. Entertainers often worked smaller places getting started. Chitlins were a cheap protien option. Black people food. Like dog food. Is there a white people food? Tons of people eat chitlins around the word
