I have been free from that for 7 months now and watching this and how you still hurt from that I see how that shit is impactful. I never want my lil man to feel like that. It's crazy cause my dad just died weeks ago and I didnt really have a relationship with him due to crack so I feel it I. That way too. This was my favorite one! It was everything! It was beautifully written and delivered. It was open and honest. He seems to have developed so well that I'd almost say that he is a better man for it! As another comedian said. Well done! Great job! I am sharing this with many people

Such a beautiful, dark and sensitive story with a hilarious punchline. Sad that the crowd is always so eager to laugh at every word. This is more about stories than comedy and usually these crowds don't get it.
@Dubbadizzo866 жыл бұрын
I don't think it has to do with the crowd being eager to laugh, but more to do with waiting longer than expected for the tension to be released. Comedy is about creating and releasing tension. When the release doesn't happen for a long time, sometimes the audience wants to laugh to release their own tension they feel. It's where "nervous laughter" comes from.

I'll repeat what I wrote in my comment: "This is more about stories than comedy". That's the concept of this show. It's not a bit, it's a personal story. Of course, being comedians, it will always have some funny moments (and sometimes it's all about funny moments). But in general it's just some comedian telling a personal story. I'm just saying that the crowd should know that beforehand.
@Dubbadizzo866 жыл бұрын
Maybe, maybe not. All depends on how they all arrived there. Some I imagine probably just dropped in without expectations. Some probably had a friend bring them there who said this was a "comedy show" so they had different expectation. Ya never know. People come to these sorts of things for all different reasons. But they all have one thing in common they are looking for, a show. They want entertainment. And they get it.

Andre Aguas so what you're saying is that this is therapy for comedians? And.....i mean...i paid for a comedian to NOT laugh? Instead just hear some shit life stories? Why would you even WANT to do that? How sad is your life that you need to hear someone else's shit life? I thought it was supposed to be funny and he just talked it in too much. There was this one dude, a few years back I think...yptalked about his time in prison. Now THAT shit was hilarious. He was telling his story, and he wasn't looking for some sympathy. So I'm guessing these comedians aren't looking for sympathy either. They just shit at making their life story funny
@fodidodearranjarnick6 жыл бұрын
not saying it's therapy for comedians. What I'm saying is that the concept of this show his for them to tell personal stories. Some are more on the funny side, other are more on the "wtf" side of life. All comedians are good storytellers so it is interesting to hear their story, even if it doesn't make you cry with laughter. And, as you can see by the other comments around here, people also enjoy these "not that funny" stories. Anyway, you thought this was supposed to be a bit. But that's just not the concept of the show. ps: I remember that dude. Ali siddiq. That guy was amazing.

"Just alcoholic" alcoholism can be the most severe form of addiction. It does not make the person ANY better or worse of a human being just because alcohol happens to be legal
@Blunt_Man4 жыл бұрын
@@nikitapardis2739 Facts, didn't intend to separate it. If anything, alcohol is one of the worst drugs, even heroin usually won't kill you just from the withdrawal but alcohol does all the time. The behavior it causes is also very unique and problematic...

This is sad but I can't relate... I hate my dad. I'd rather avoid him and his anger then spend time with him. Since I think of being punished and getting beat when I see his face it's really impossible to not be pissed off around him.
