I have been to the show and it was a small venue in San Diego. Some dude got up and busted ass. I mean it was fucking loud and then the whole place smelled like ass .He said things that I never heard before that same smile. He came unglued and let it fly for a few minutes.

This shows why Anthony Jeselnik is my favorite comedian of all time. Most of these dark jokes were met with not only laughter, but applause. Even the crowd knew these set ups and punchlines were not only hilarious, but genius. They had to applaud. Jeselnik is the GOAT

I wasn't sure I got this particular joke, even after playing it twice. I guess it means he must be "seeing" many different men and can't keep track of all their names? And while "blaming" some guy named Jeff, he's thereby implicating himself as gay? If so, its very subtle joke, but also not terribly funny. More of a weird head scratcher were everyone looks at each others and "thinks" they understand the joke, but isn't quite sure.

I guess I just love dark humour (done well) because Anthony, and Frankie Boyle are my two most favourite comedians. He has expert delivery, but the thing that makes him a master, is his joke composition. Worded slightly differently, they wouldn't work. His pacing and precision are impeccable.

Never thought anybody could be funnier than Kinison but he's changing my mind. Maybe his "high points" aren't quite as high, but his sustained brilliance over an entire set (and at this point, many years) is remarkable. It's going to be interesting to see if he ever "pivots" away from this style, I don't know if it's sustainable "forever". Even Howard Stern did a complete 180 away from his mean-spirited insult comedy style, but his repertoire was quite a bit wider. This guy has mined material from areas that no comedian has dared to tread before.

Well that’s true of most comedians anyway. The vast majority “retire” most of the jokes they put into a special. So by the time it airs they’re well on the way to building their next hour.

The only thing better than 2013 Jeselnik is the 2024 YT comments section of ppl being offended by 2013 Jeselnik! I'm just happy the bleeping isn't incessant. Some of these are legit unwatchable because of the constant loud bleeping.
