I have been to the show and it was a small venue in San Diego. Some dude got up and busted ass. I mean it was fucking loud and then the whole place smelled like ass .He said things that I never heard before that same smile. He came unglued and let it fly for a few minutes.

@privatename3621
@privatename3621 5 ай бұрын
I wasn't sure I got this particular joke, even after playing it twice. I guess it means he must be "seeing" many different men and can't keep track of all their names? And while "blaming" some guy named Jeff, he's thereby implicating himself as gay? If so, its very subtle joke, but also not terribly funny. More of a weird head scratcher were everyone looks at each others and "thinks" they understand the joke, but isn't quite sure.

@@soyinkaforster160 How do you explain this --> "I dunno. I’m so bad with names" from this --> "the play on the fact its not clear whetherhis hes thinks he is indeed gay or he is indeed jeff is the joke". It was very hard to understand what you were saying with all the typos. How is it funny if he is unclear whether "he is gay" or whether "his name is Jeff". Where is the joke in that? That's why I stretched to try to figure out if he was pointing the finger at himself for having too many partners or something. It just falls flat. Perhaps you could restate? I still don't get the joke.

Never thought anybody could be funnier than Kinison but he's changing my mind. Maybe his "high points" aren't quite as high, but his sustained brilliance over an entire set (and at this point, many years) is remarkable. It's going to be interesting to see if he ever "pivots" away from this style, I don't know if it's sustainable "forever". Even Howard Stern did a complete 180 away from his mean-spirited insult comedy style, but his repertoire was quite a bit wider. This guy has mined material from areas that no comedian has dared to tread before.

You can joke about whatever you want, it just has to be funny. The more offensive the subject, the funnier it has to be. Jeselnik said/quoted “art is getting away with it.” These other comedians just aren’t good enough to get away with it.

Settle down there, it’s free. No need to be entitled and bark orders over free content. You want to protest censorship? Do it in places where it matters. Complaining over free content just comes off as such a Karen move…

I'm more than 1/2 way thru this, knowing I saw it before, & still LOL at these masterfully crafted shadows. It's been years but this is art at it's finest. Even though I don't recall all that's about to be said, the jokes still have fastball speed due to their craft & economy. Bravo.

Well that’s true of most comedians anyway. The vast majority “retire” most of the jokes they put into a special. So by the time it airs they’re well on the way to building their next hour.

The only thing better than 2013 Jeselnik is the 2024 YT comments section of ppl being offended by 2013 Jeselnik! I'm just happy the bleeping isn't incessant. Some of these are legit unwatchable because of the constant loud bleeping.
