Great episode man. I've been going the the Keys since '69 when I was 7, my dad had a house in Key West. We spent one Christmas in the Keys, your little segment reminded me. Originally being from NY, it was a bit strange. I had to give up my Marathon time share in 2016. Watching your channel keeps me in touch with a paradise I miss very much. Thanks for watching. The ones we catch deep dropping are “bigeye” threshers and are protected, so we can’t keep them. I would love to try a common thresher if I ever catch one . Happy new year

How big was the sun fish? We snagged one with a king rig and he started gray hounding out of the water, 600+ pounds. Guy with the rod said no i have a king. I said let me set 3 tribble hooks in your rear end and we will see if you start gray hounding out of the water. I really wish they would outlaw tribble hooks.
