@TheReal RedWolfofDeath Worthless? The Banu Defender is a light fighter and we already have a heap of them in the game. We don't have any large passenger transit ships in the game yet. Adding the 890 will allow them to flesh out passenger missions even more to be mass passenger. (I have an 890 Jump and a Banu Defender before you accuse me of bias, haha)

Anybody know how to get missing engine replaced? When I claim the ship, it comes back without an engine. It doesn't seem to affect flight. I also had a missing cooler that I replaced. I have replaced two powerplants, Shields and guns as well. Quantum drive does not show up on ship manager in mobi glass but it works.

I think devs will add the ability to modify various functional compartments of ships including the medbay so we could install more beds or make them more functional.

All of my ships are in the pipeline and not flyable and I am okay with that. 3.6 has more functional features critical to the game itself which is more important.

Even though so much got pushed back, there's still a lot to look forward to in 3.6. Thanks for the update, Mr. Advance. For clarification: CIG didn't really specify when in 3.6 they would role out the 890 and ship rentals, so it would be more accurate to say 3.6.x instead of 3.6.1. You don't want to be getting people's hopes now.

I wonder with the new law system if they are thinking of having damage states on space stations. If someone went crazy and drove a capital ship at full speed into Port Olisar, there should be some damage and atmospheric breaches.

Components are covered under base insurance? Is this going to be permanent or just another temporary thing? "missfire events"... it just wouldn't be SC without a something dumb added to a patch, would it?... -_- I also wonder how long and expensive the ship customisation for a 890J will be...

Misfires is a pretty cool mechanic if it isn't just random, but caused by damage, wear and tear, item quality, etc.

@@clykke AFAIK it's going to be random with increasing chances depending on wear etc. However, I also don't like the idea of wear and tear because frankly... it's going to be just another time/moneysink unless you absolutely dig nonsensical unrealistic micromanagement. I mean... if you compare it to real life, you surely have to replace a Truck's Tyres and change oil etc. but usually, even in 20 years of service you might replace the engine/gearbox once if even. I'd rather not find out that I paid for merely a hull with throwaway components.

So seriously what happened to the reststop idea. What they came out with was cookie cutter stations what happened to the years of research on proc interiors. Also these new stations look completely different like alien race and they look very impractical.

I think it goes against the spirit of the game if you can insure upgraded components in the full game , like whats the point in that case you upgrade your ship once then you are done... everyone has the BIS ship insured etc , super boring , you want insurance to cover the basic bitch ship and make people pay to upgrade them as a game money sink.

what I see is : wrong direction! More promises of new features and ships -->> much more persitent bugs!! and: this alpha lacks gameplay on a galactic scale -- what for to have all those ships? look them up in hangar?
