What's especially cool is that it is not just adding Krystal as playable character but adds different small improvements to the game itself. If there were a remake of Star Fox Adventures, maybe by PlatinumGames, the map and story would be expanded upon to some extent. The remake would feature the ability to playthrough as Krystal, unlocked paying Scarabs to get a Cheat Token. After that, you must beat the game as Fox at least once and start a new game. Her route would be longer and contain more dialogue than Fox’s, but the story will be mostly the same. She’ll be able to do some things that he can’t, such as speed combat (similar to the Flash Move effect from Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana). She’ll be able to dash and climb ladders faster than him. Slippy won’t need to develop a translator for her, because unlike Fox, she naturally understands Saurian. Krystal was originally meant to be playable when the game started development as Dinosaur Planet.

Very interesting! Simply having some cheat device codes, such as the equivalent of Action Replay codes, was pretty cool, but this starts to take it to a new level. At first when the video started I thought this was nothing more than an over glorified video of an AR cheat code, but by the end of the video I can see how this is worthy of being called a mod. I'm looking forward to the final version now. I wonder if it would be possible for you to give Krystal her more feminine walking animations that were noticeably different than Fox's. That would definitely help complete this mod. Either way, thanks for putting in the effort to make this mod. 👍

If they wanted to, they could've had Andross seal _Fox_ in a crystal while he's fooling around on Dinosaur Planet. That way, Slippy and Peppy could come down to the planet and meet his substitute because Fox isn't responding to radio communication...

I wonder why, in my case the game crashes whenever I try to use the PDA (on my Wii via Nintendont), I have to test 1st if I only need to update Nintendont, otherwise it maybe is only fully optimized on Dolphin.

Why wasn’t this considered the game from the start? Star Vixen Adventurous on Dinosaur Planet sounds perfect ring to me. Sabre’s two different version can be rework into Star Wolf (playability after beating the main story) and brand new character as Krystal’s cousin.

Nice mod, now if only there could be a fan reinterpretation, like how Crowbar Collective made Black Mesa Source to retell the story of the original Half-Life, with the game and it's assets given a massive overhaul with an immensely revamped plot, which could include new voice acting and additional custom assets, Fox using his actual blaster, Krystal being playable and using her staff and maybe have it so Fox and Krystal can both be played until their stories intersect with one another and are able to work together for the rest of the game. Just a thought in case anyone that has the expertise and resources to make a mod of this caliber sees this comment and takes the initiative to make this possibility into a reality. Cause if Nintendo won't give us what we really want, then who will?
