Star Revenge 2: Night of Doom 90 star speedrun in

Good run except for Bowser 2 fight which was awful.
Some other stuff has been mediocre at best but overall this is a really solid run crushing the previous World Record of 4:12:04 by StanSM64Addict. I'm now going to move back to Last Impact 130 star to get a sub 2:45:00 time.

To be honest - this is one of the craziest exhibition of talent and skills I have ever fuckin seen in my life. This shit is borderline inspirational, these things you do effortlessly that seems impossible to most people gave me shivers on some parts. You practiced so much believing you could do this TAS-designed Hack you actually are flying troughs each frame-perfect jumps as if they are a fuckin joke, Muscle Memory and practice are monstrous things when applied properly in a confident setting. I am pretty sure you got so good with the movements you could literally play any hack and figure out strats to move from platforms to platforms without even practicing the hack that much. . Darbian is right - All you need is confidence, and patience.

Thank you - I don't even practice all that much since you just need to be really really solid with basic movement and only a few tricky jumps. Also knowledge is power - a lot of stuff gets really easy once you know how to do it best, and I'm pretty good at figuring out strats ;)

another dude in the community by the name of sigotusm64 has been messing around with this game lately, and most of his strats put mine to shame lol - He hasn't done any 90 star runs yet of this, but if he can manage to get consistent with most of his stuff, he'll easily sub 3:30 and even make a sub 3 viable probably. I doubt that he will ever get to a reasonable level of consistency with his strats though, they're just a tad too risky I guess :P

Assuming you're playing with Project64, make sure to set the RAM size to 8 MB (it's in the advanced options).

Thanks, but I can't find it in the advanced options all I can see in advanced options is: Start emulation when ROM is opened, Automatically compress saved states, Enable debugger, Remember selected cheats, Check if project64 is already running, Unique Game Save Directory, Speed display and 64DD IPL ROM Path: ... ! I also have the latest version of PJ64 (Project64) So Idk what is wrong here? I guess I'll figure it out :P

I played this in SM64 online. We were Waluigi and Yoshi and got something like 20 stars before we realised how big waste of time it was. It has some nice parts but this rom hack is ultimately trial and error, you can't see what's there until you die to it
